This was one of those classic moments that I wished I had a camera. We are sitting waiting in the lounge overlooking the gardens, and looking at the outside eating area, when a man in a mask comes by our window spraying white smoke all over the bushes.
It billows everywhere and he finishes off and walks away. Meanwhile the White cloud starts making its way towards the diners and slowly drops down giving a white mist around the tables.
I mention this to the concierge next to me who says 'this is no problem Sir, it is not dangerous', so I asked why the man doing it wore a mask? 'He always does that Sir, but it is no problem' . Ok but it meant we didn't eat out at that side of the hotel that evening.
Also next lesson in India is they always say yes to everything, even when they mean No. 'Is this the latest Samsung phone? Yes sir, are you sure? Yes sir, I don't think it is though? Yes sir, it's not is it? Yes sir.
Just wait until you fly back. The people with the insect spray will be back. But they will wait for you to be strapped in on the plane, then spray YOU! Of course as you wont be flying with the proles the stewardess will probably give you a quick rub down with the Delhi Racing Post instead....
