We had a trip out this morning into the center of bangalore which was interesting, where you find Armani, Zara, Gucci etc, all the top makes. To be honest you could be in Brent Cross or Trafford Park, and the prices are pretty similar, not sure why the hotel recommended this as I was expecting to see a little more of the bazaars and markets rather than european shops!
Had a great lunch sitting out and just taking it easy for the afternoon. Got stung a little bit as we asked for sparkling water and they got us perrier, which when we got the bill turns out to be nearly £4 a bottle as against the local make which is 90p.
First time the water has ever cost more than the one of the main courses!
