Well we haven't seen a lot of the undeveloped India as yet - kolkata is a huge brand new airport the same as bangalore.
Huge spaces and very modern we had our bags inside 10 minutes of landing and in fact the flight arrived 30 minutes early (of course I think they expand the flying times so all flights are early or in time).
We had arranged a hotel car so we had a nice driver and the journey into town took about an hour.
